Bertie’s Butter products are handmade in small batches using high-quality dairy ingredients.
As our products are fresh and minimally processed, they must be stored correctly to ensure quality and food safety. All butter should be kept refrigerated at or below 5°C unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
Customers should always check the use-by date on the product packaging and consume the product before this date.
Bertie’s Butter cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from products that have not been stored correctly after purchase.
If you believe a product has a quality issue, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the purchase.
Allergen Information
Bertie’s Butter products are made from milk (dairy), which is a recognised allergen.
Customers with milk or dairy allergies or intolerances should not consume these products.
Where additional ingredients are used (for example herbs, garlic, or flavourings), these will be clearly listed on the product label.
Although every effort is made to maintain good hygiene practices, our products are prepared in a kitchen environment where other allergens may occasionally be present.
Customers with severe allergies should contact Bertie’s Butter before purchasing if they require further information.
Wholesale & Farm Shop Supply Terms
Bertie’s Butter supplies selected farm shops and local retailers.
Wholesale customers agree to the following:
• Products must be stored refrigerated at all times
• Products must be sold before the displayed use-by date
• Products must not be relabelled or repackaged without permission from Bertie’s Butter
• Bertie’s Butter branding must not be altered or removed
Once products have been delivered to the retailer in satisfactory condition, the retailer assumes responsibility for proper storage and handling.
Wholesale pricing, delivery schedules, and minimum order quantities may be agreed separately with each retailer.
Bertie’s Butter reserves the right to adjust wholesale terms where necessary.

Bertie’s Butter is a handmade, small-batch product. Because of this:
• Colour, texture, and flavour may vary slightly between batches
• Natural seasonal variations in milk can affect the final product
• Each batch is produced using traditional methods rather than large-scale industrial processing
These variations are part of the character and quality of an artisan butter product.
